What is the average wedding budget you work with?

Typically, our overall clients have a budget of $500 per guest. Sometimes this number is higher and sometimes it is lower. What matters more to us than your budget though is the connection you have with us. Wedding planning is intensive, so make sure you work with someone you genuinely like. Regardless of your budget size, you are going to find that it is easy to continually add more with your wedding. We work with you to create realistic expectations. Our job is to advise you, and sometimes that means changing your expectations or changing your budget.

What does your fee cover?

Our fee covers the services you have contracted with us: wedding planning, design, or coordination + execution of your wedding (or all of the above). This fee is what pays ECW and our staffing for the hours and effort we put into making your wedding day the best it can possibly be. This includes everything before and even after the wedding day: prep work, behind-the-scenes tasks, day-of execution, and more. What is not included in our fee is the cost of things like flowers, decor, etc. You pay vendors directly with no mark-ups or up-charging from us. In fact, you get access to our vendor discounts and better value because of our relationships with other wedding professionals.

What is your pricing?

Our services are priced based on details and scope of work. How intricate your decor is, how many locations you have, the logistics of delivery, set-up and tear-down, how fast you need things done, number of guests…you get it. The more complex your wedding, the more time and/or staff is required, which translates to a higher price. On average, our Full Planning + Design clients invest about $6500 +gst (CAD) for weddings in Calgary. Our Wedding Coordination clients invest around $2000-$2300 +gst (CAD) for weddings in Calgary. Travel to areas outside of Calgary require a travel and hotel accommodation fee. First, we listen to you so that we understand how we can give you the best experience. Who will be the main coordinator at my wedding?

Evelyn is the Lead Planner, Designer + Coordinator for our Full Planning + Design couples, and Olivia is the Lead Coordinator for our Wedding Day Coordination couples.

Will you set up our cafe lights and other DIY props?

When you work with ECW, you are hiring more than just bodies to do the job. We work with wedding decor companies that do the heavy lifting and large item set-up because they have the proper know-how and materials to safely execute certain decor. Our strength is in overseeing and putting the finesse on your details.
