Well, it has been a very dreary week here in Calgary.

You would think I would have gotten used to the cold, wet Springs in Calgary since moving here 5 years ago, but I think this year is one of the more grey and wet Junes I have seen.

Regardless of this weather, I want to end this week (and start the Canada Day weekend off!) with some great images I have collected over the week. I hope you all stay safe this long weekend and enjoy the sunshine we are (finally) getting!

While I like to think of myself as gal of sophisticated tastses, I have a weakness for these icing sugar wafers that you can get at any grocery store. They come in those elegant, cellophane wrappers that do nothing to keep the crumbs from getting everywhere…I am classy like that.

Even when it’s cloudy out, you will always find me wearing a pair of sunglasses. Sunglasses are the ultimate accessory that can instantly take your outfit to a new, chic level. My favourites are the classic aviators, Wayfarers and cat-eyes frames…or anything worn by Audrey.

Speaking of classic…red lips for a bride is never a bad idea.

Many of my friends have traveled to Chicago. In fact, some friends of ours just got back from a last-minute vacation to The Windy City. After their stories of great food, shopping and fantastic architecture, I am wondering if I should be booking a trip for me and my husband? I just love that I found this wedding photo this week too…
